Our gymnasts headed to Cumbernauld in March for the Cumbernauld Floor & Vault Competition, and what a fantastic day of gymnastics it was for Tryst Gymnastics Club!
In the 14+ Beginner category we had an outstanding performance, with Charlotte sweeping the board and taking home three gold medals! Charlotte achieved gold on Floor, Vault and in the All Around competition, an incredible achievement and a fantastic reward for all her hard work and dedication in training.
Helena also had a brilliant competition in the 12/13 intermediate level, securing three silver medals across Floor, Vault and All Around. Helena. Both Helena and Nadia, also successfully competed brand new vaults for the first time in competition. Both gymnasts were recognised and awarded for taking on the challenge of performing their new vaults — a fantastic achievement and a great demonstration of their confidence and commitment to developing their gymnastics.
It was a later start to the competition for our 14+ Intermediates (Nadia, Cristina, Hermione), who faced an exceptionally tough category with some very strong gymnastics on display. Our gymnasts rose to the challenge and produced some excellent performances, achieving an impressive 1 Gold, 3 Bronze medals and 2 Top 6 place ribbons.
We are incredibly proud of all our gymnasts who competed at Cumbernauld. They showed great determination, confidence and sportsmanship throughout the day, and their results are a fantastic reward for all the hard work they put in during training.
