Our classes have now concluded for 2024 with lots of fantastic new gymnastics skills learned from our new and experienced gymnasts over this past year.
Our last week of term ended with lots of fun and games for our gymnasts with Christmas corners, musical bumps, musical statues, synchro teddy bear rolls, ladders, 4 lives, build a Xmas tree, red light/green light, floor is lava and finally our 2024 Christmas Challenge for our Senior gymnasts.
Our 4 challenge teams were led by 4 of our Coaches, Ailie, Joy, Louise and Niamh. Our coaches were very competitive demonstrating some skills that had long been retired… No Coaches were harmed in this event, albeit they have been a bit sore in the morning!
After a very closely fought contest the results finished as follows:
4th – 92 points- The Flipping Snow-women led – by Joy
3rd – 94 points – The Rizzy Reindeers – led by Ailie
2nd – 97.5 points – The Christmas Crackers – led by Niamh
1st – 98 points – The Jolly Gymnasts – led by Louise
Congratulations to the Winning Team – Charlotte, Emma, Izzy, Emma, Cristina, Louise.
